Wild-Rose Sari from Kashmir with Sozni Embroidered Maple Leaves by Hand

Crepe silk dyed an intensely feminine rose-red colour and punctuated by miniature red- and gold-thread maple leaves, makes for sheer elegance that is definitely sourced from the Kashmir valley. What makes the endemic sozni hand-embroidery so tasteful is the satin-stitch used to put together twin Oriental motifs in a dominant and a gentler colour on both sides of the fabric.
