Tie and dye is the traditional technique followed in Gujarat where the cloth is tied on the area which is not to be colored and dipped in color. The area which is tied remains undyed and forms a rhombus shaped pattern called the chungdi.

This tie and dye sari is in red and green color. The body is in green color with very close Chungdis forming a mango leaf pattern. The border is in red color with similar chungdis all over it. The Pallav is also in red color with chungdi forming several mango leaf patterns.

A very comfortable sari for summer and evening wear.
