This salwar kameez is the embodiment of the Indian zardozi tradition that India has been so famous for. Zardozi is a delicate gold thread work that started with the Islamic traditions in India. It was the courtly tradition of the Mughals and since then became a part of the ethos of ritual occasions like weddings. This dress comes in a dark purple color with Zardozi work on the neck and hands. The work is not too heavy and hence looks very elegant.

It is accompanied by a plain purple salwar and a georgette dupatta with heavy zardozi work over it.
