Raw silk is a variety of silk which is lustrous but is slightly coarse than the actual silk, and has its own unique texture. They form an easy wear and look very elegant and classy. This sari comes in a combination of shades and this makes the sari even prettier. The body of the sari is in dark blue with printed Rangoli patterns in the chungdi style. Chungdi print is the traditional motif of Rajasthan, where the tie and dye technique originated. Chungdis are small rhombus shaped patterns formed in the process of making tie and dye. The body of the sari itself has a grid like self design on it.

The border of the sari is in two shades of orange and red with the same Rangoli motifs in chungdi print. What makes the border beautiful is the small mirror work done on it. The pallav is in maroon color with large flowers printed in the chungdi pattern. There are also small mirrors shining on the pallav.
