This Khadi sari has a Bagru print design on it. Bagru prints are the traditional block prints made in the towns of Bagru and Sanganer of Rajasthan, where the designs to be printed on the cottons are made on the wooden blocks and printed with vegetable dyes. The block prints use floral and creeper patterns mostly, and make the cotton saris look very elegant.
The body is in light peach color with large and bold leaf designs printed on it. The border of the sari has a floral and creeper pattern on it in the typical Bagru pattern. The pallav is elaborate with block printed designs of large floral and creeper patterns alternating with checks which have small flowers printed in between them.
