This black Bengal beauty is a wearer's pride. This is a piece of poetry in cloth. The body of the sari is in pitch-black color with biscuit color butis closely woven. The border of the sari is a beauty in itself with dancing peacocks woven in an elongated fashion. The curves of the peacock are unmistakably impeccable and make the sari seem like a song. On the top of the border there is an elaborate temple design that adds to the splendor of the sari.
The Pallav is also very elaborately woven. There are the same dancing peacocks as on the border which are flanked by geometrical butis in circles and rhombuses.
A lovely sari.
