Gadwals are handlooms from Andhra Pradesh. They are woven in a town called Gadwal which was an erstwhile Zamindari, where the Zamindar had specified for a certain type of clothing to be worn. Hence Gadwal saris come in plain bodies with a large Zari woven border.

His Gadwal sari comes in biscuit color body with a black border. The border is quite broad with a large and intricate Zari weave on it. There are three rows of Zari weaves which have the ethnic floral pattern on it. There is a temple border carving weave on the end of the border. The pallav is plain with black horizontal weave.
