The Buddha is shown standing on a pedestal placed on the middle of a lotus. His right hand is making the gesture of abhaya (fearlessness), while the left hand is in the position of varada (generosity). He has a slight long moustache, a beard and half closed eyes. There is a urna between the eyebrows and his earlobes are elongated. His hair, blue in complexion, is arranged in curly manner with prominent usanisa. He is wearing a beautiful garments covering both the shoulders. His robe has a floral design. The border of the drapery is in golden complexion. A round green halo is behind his head. The texture, composition, and colour combination of are all testimony to the skill of the monk-artist.
