Karnataka Man and Woman
The Karnataka man who comes from the hill area of coorg, hails from a martial race and is good-looking and strong. He wears a long, black coat, fastened at the waist with a broad sash that holds the coorg knife. The women of Karnataka wear the sari in a distinctive style. The pallav or outer end of the sari is brought from under the left arm and over the right shoulder, forming a beautiful apron in front.
