This Jaldhara Kalash is a very important ceremonial instrument made of brass and it comes with three interconnected chains connecting to three different parts of the Kalash's mouth. It is utilized for Shiv Lingam Abhishekam or sacred washing. The vase is hung above the Shiva Lingam and drops water or other offerings like as milk, curd, honey, and other cold substances for Abhishekam to expel bad energy from a home or temple. The use of brass, a holy metal, feeds good energy into the Kalash and boosts its power. The pointed conical bottom enables for careful dripping of the holy liquid ingredient, resulting in an efficient ceremony.
