Only 1 available

Popularized in the Panchaloha bronzes of Tamil Nadu, dancing Ganesha or Nritya Ganapati is a universal symbol of bliss and auspiciousness. In this brass statue from Nepal, the iconography of Nritya Ganapati has been presented in a traditional idiom, with Ganesha dancing on a two-layered pedestal, balancing his form beautifully.

Ganesha is represented in a four-armed form, carrying Ankusha (goad), tusk, and Modaka and extending his secondary left hand in the graceful Lolahasta mudra. A Karandamukuta or inverted basket-shaped crown with a halo, Tripunda (Shaivite mark) on the forehead, serpent waistband, and short dhoti are the ornaments and attire of Ganesha, whose movement fill the atmosphere with activeness and auspiciousness.
