Also known as Venkanna, Balaji, and Lord of the Seven Hills, Lord Venkateshwara is the supreme Lord. There is no parallel to Venkatachalam and there is no God equal to Venkateswara either in the past or in the future. Tirupati Balaji is called Kaliyuga Varada which means the wish-fulfilling Lord of Kaliyuga. His eyes are covered as it is said that his gaze is so powerful that it would scorch the universe. In his upper hands, Balaji carries the Sudarshan, a symbol of his cosmic authority and Shankha (Conch Shell), a symbol of existence. His lower right hand extends in Varada Mudra, bestowing boons upon the faithful, while the left beckons devotees to surrender, inviting them into the protective embrace of faith.
Clad in regal vestments, adorned with a Karanda Mukut crown and resplendent jewellery, Tirupati Balaji, bedecked with a cascade of flowers, symbolises the divine fusion of grace and majesty—an eternal promise of salvation. Cast in brass, this gorgeous creation beckons mortals to surrender, promising protection and cosmic solace in the embrace of divine splendour.
