Smiling divinely, the great preserver Lord of Hinduism, Sri Vishnu is presented in this small copper statue in his popular form- Chaturbhuja (four-armed), standing upright and adorned regally. Vishnu wears an elongated crown called Kiritamukuta, Makara (a mythical creature) shaped earrings, delicate jewelry on his torso, and an ornate waistband with a floral band dangling in the front. Sri Vishnu stands on a pedestal shaped like a lotus or Padma, which is a symbol of the Universe or Srishti, which is balanced and nurtured by the powers of Vishnu.
