Sporting a commanding beard and mustache, these facial features symbolize his authority in both bestowing blessings and administering punishments. Signifying his triumph over the Nāgas, guardians of treasures, Kubera is typically portrayed alongside a mongoose, which is shown spitting out precious gold jewels.
