A miniature Kubera-Lakshmi ensemble to usher into your home affluence and well-being. Seated on an engraved continuous throne, these are the presiding deities of Hinduism over currency and resources, respectively.
Lord Kubera is seated with the mongoose, His vahana, in His lap. Devi Lakshmi is a finger’s width away, seated in lalitasana. Over the tapering crowns on their heads rises an ornately carved archway. The engravings starting from the body of the throne, all along the archway, are executed in perfect symmetry and hallmarks of authentic bronze workmanship of South India.
Speaking of workmanship, the bronzeworker’s skill is most discernible given the scale of the murtis. Despite the same, each detail of form and iconography has been introduced with a remarkable degree of precision.
