A Chola-inspired representation of Lord Shiva in his Bhairava form, made in Panchaloha bronze is a fine idol of divinity as seen and felt. Bhairava who’s fearsome is depicted with swirling matted locks decorated adorned by a Kapala and Ardhachandra. He’s Param Bharhma, who’s covered by no inhibitions or shallow conduct; whose four arms represent his omnipresence in all the four directions. Holding a Damru and vessel of blood, he’s accompanied by a dog, whom he feeds. Bhairava, on whose skin Vasuki crawls is the distinguisher of sins and torches our souls out of fear.
