The Kavadi bells are little bells with only a circular holder on the top of the handle to hold them while being swung to produce the sacred sound. This brass lantern doubles as a miniature Kavadi bell. It has the general characteristics of a spherical body and a short mouth. The sound of a bell, notably a temple bell, is thought to cleanse the air. The body of the bell signifies time - Ananta - and the tongue of the bell depicts Goddess Saraswathi. As a result, the role of a bell in distributing positive energy is indicated.
