Her padmasana (lotus throne) is poised above a solid platform. The same is supported by a dense network of thick, engraved vines that are curving upwards, seemingly holding up the composition. The central Devi Lakshmi figure is Herself surrounded by a similarly thick network of similar vines, contained as She is within their luxuriance. It forms a three-dimensional aureole around Her, projecting around Her a sacred precinct. The same has been finished with precision and perfect symmetry.

Indeed, such a work as this commands as much skill as shraddha to be made. The handsome, angularly-cut features of Devi Lakshmi are accentuated by the ample adornments on Her body. Her dhoti was held in place by a girdle of gold, her breasts clasped in a breast band, and layered necklaces all the way from Her decolletage down to below the navel. Along the plane of Her tall crown are perched a pair of peacocks within the vines that surround Her, while elephants with raised trunks flank Her throne.
