The deities are luxuriantly adorned, their well-defined torsos and arms held erect against the weight of all the jewels. While Narayanaji's posterior hands hold a dharmic chakra and a conch, Lakshmiji carries a couple of lotuses about to burst into bloom. Her anterior hands are in the gestures of blessing and fearlessness (abhaya); whereas He holds a lotus while giving out a blessing with one, and carries in the other a large goad that goes ll the way down to His feet. The sashes of their dhoties descend symmetrically on either side of the figurines. While Narayanaji's dhoti is diaphanous - the contours of His limbs clearly visible from beneath the masterfully sculpted layer - Lakshmiji's dhoti is heavily embroidered with bootis.
It is the respective pedestals of the deity that set this twin sculpture apart from the usual Narayanaji-Lakshmiji sculptures. They are symmetrical: beneath an inverted lotus in full bloom is a right rectangular prism, beneath which is a matrix of lotus petals. At Narayanaji's feet is Garuda, who is prostrated and holds His hand in the namaskaaram mudra, His wondrous wings flanking Him on both sides. At Lakshmiji's feet is the sacred elephant, its trunk raised in a grand gesture.
