This Nila Vilakku, decorated with green and red meenakari work and turquoise inlay, is a ritual object exuding the bright colors of creativity. The lamp carries the traditional structure of a Nila Vilakku as a columnar lamp. There is a five-wick lamp basin atop the lamp and a disc-shaped base for collecting excess oil. The meenakari work is regal with a combination of bright red and green colors. Small brass dots are pasted circularly for decoration. Coile vines, popularly known as Bel Buta, are designed on the stem. Small parts of turquoise stones are pasted as inlay to enhance the lamp's look. This lamp is an essential ritual object that can also be procured as a piece of art.
