Lotus is considered symbolic flowers in Buddhist culture. The  Ganesha has a head of an elephant and big belly. Chaturbhuja deity holds his broken tusk in his upper right hand and a conch in another.

His lower hand is in abhay mudra known as the gesture of fearlessness, reassurance, and safety. The large elephant head of Lord Ganesha in a bun like Shiva symbolizes wisdom, understanding, and a discriminating intellect that one must possess to attain perfection in life.
