The erotic love play between Radha and Krishna is oft portrayed. On a moonlit night, the couple sits on the terrace, facing the river. Krishna slowly runs a comb through Radha's long hair, caressing and arousing her at the same time. Radha, oblivious to the whereabouts of her odhini, sits comfortably, arching backwards, helping Krishna achieve his mission. Krishna, with his perfect features and numerous ornaments justifies why all the gopis of Brindavan were mad about him. Radha takes pride in the fact that Krishna preferred her over all others and it reflects in her face and posture here.
A peacock struts in the foreground as a pair of swans lovingly join beaks in the tranquil waters.
