Ushnishasitatapattra is the Buddhist Goddess of Victorious White Parasol, who emerges as an independent Buddhist deity, revered majorly in the Geluk order of Tibetian Buddhism. Considered to be an avatar of Tara, she is often placed as the female equivalent of Avalokiteshvara’s thousand-armed form. Beholding the power of thousand faces, arms, and legs - she holds a staff of ribbons, arrows, and the dharma chakra. In this fine-detailed Thangka, the five Tathagata Buddhas occupy the skies, and at the bottom appear three wrathful Vajrapanis.
