Here, Hanuman is painted in a standing posture, with his long tail an extension of his body. He is presented in a bold and dynamic manner. There is no angularity in style and the curves are pronounced. There is no doubt about his dedication and devotion to Rama and Sita. However, he has torn apart his chest to prove that they reside there in his heart. A crowned and bejeweled image of Rama and Sita is enclosed within Hanuman's chest. Rama is of blue body and Sita of golden complexion. The artist has painted Hanuman's body in pink. To add more colour, his lion cloth is red with white dots and the 'angocha', thrown over his shoulders, is yellow. The halo around his head is also yellow having a bold, green border. The only weapon associated with Hanuman is the mace and it is painted on one side of the painting.
