Ten Mahavidyas are the important ten aspects of Adi Parashakti in Hinduism or the various forms of Goddess Parvati. These are the ten wisdom goddesses namely- Maha Kali, Tara, Tripura, Bhuwaneshwari, Chinnamasta, Dhumawati, Matangi, Kamala Devi, Baglamukhi and Bhairavi that hold their values to bring happiness and prosperity in life; painted in colourful palette, unique and attractive patterns with the presence of the sacred mantra, ‘Om Shri Mahalakshmayi Namaha’, highlighting its glorious aspect.
Maha means great and Vidya means education, this yantra is worshipped to attain the worldly desires and attain siddhis as its evolution marks the rise of bhakti aspect in Shaktism.
The most distinctive feature in the painting is the way this bhakti signifying yantra is painted in Madhubani style keeping in mind all its characteristics and equally focussing on auspiciousness and beauty.
