The implements of a seasoned painter, gathered in a dark corner of the studio. A flat palette besmeared with blue, orange, pink, and yellow. Made of sturdy wood, just like the embossed stand immediately in front of it. It contains a couple of paintbrushes of varying thicknesses and a small drawing pencil.
Besides the handheld palette and the paintbrush stand, there is a white-capped bottle of dark blue paint. From the packaging and labelling, it looks like molten acrylic colour. On the other side of the stand is a tube of paint.
Between the stand and the paint bottle - interestingly enough - there is a sharp-edged seashell, probably an element of visualisation and inspiration for the artist. From its colour and texture, it is discernible that the painter handles it quite a bit.
