The Shri Vashikaran Yantra is one of the more select yantrams from Buddhist tantric traditions. Composed on the select medium of copper, it deviates from the usual set of curves that define the yantra imagery. There is no bindu as the centre of supreme consciousness, no circles or triangles or quandrilaterals, and definitely no lotuses. It simply comprises of a single Ganesha name-chant (the text across the top of the painting read "Shri Ganeshaye Namah"), and the crucial utterance of "Kshah Om Shri Devaduttame Vasham Kuroo Shri Kshah" engraved across the centre. The sacred "Shri" symbol dominates the rest of the copper plate.
