The Shri Shri yantram is of unparalleled eminence in the yantra tradition. Shri is the essence of the Devi, wife of Brahma, Herself. She is saguna; it is Her attributes that this glorious yantram captures. Of varying iconographies this one comprises of superimposed lotuses, of eight and sixteen petals respectively, and nine interlocking triangles, five of which are oriented downwards (yoni) and four upwards (lingam). The mantra associated with the Shri Shri Yantram is "Om Shareeng Hareeng Shareeng Kamlalye Prased - Prased Shareeng Hareeng Shareeng Om Mahalashminamaye Namaha". Its smokey silver beauty renders this as much a work of art as a religious implement.
