Within the circular bounds of the central panel, Lord Krishna is making an offering of His flute to His beloved Radha. They look into each other’s eyes with sheer adoration, the depth of familiarity swimming in them. The larger circular panel that surrounds the same depicts the couple dancing with each other. A ringlet of lotus petals along the outer circumference, flanked by fruit- and leaf-laden vines. The same are highly characteristic of the woods of Vrindavan, where the lives of Radha-Krishna is said to have played out.
