Radha-Krishna standing in the Kunja-vana or grooves of Vrindavan is one of the most popular images of divine lovers. The blue-skinned Krishna in Pitambara (yellow garments) plays his flute while Radha dressed in a deep green holds him in a warm embrace. Krishna too pulls his scarf around Radha, reciprocating her loving clasp. A yellow halo forms behind this heavenly image. Near Krishna’s feet, a pair of peacocks (a symbol of love) peck at the grass, complementing Radha-Krishna in this picture of eternally pure romance.
