Here she stands on a lotus in the militant stance (pratyalidha), trampling upon two figures representing obstacles on the path of Dharma. She is nearly sky clad except for a small skirt-like apron made of bones and also a strange bodice making a cross over her chest. In addition she wears a long necklace of laughing skulls.
Her right hand brandishes the deadly chopper, while with the left she tilts the skull top towards her gaping mouth to drink blood. Her magic staff khatavanga is supposed across her left shoulder. She is framed by an oval, flame-fringed aureole. A unique aspect of this painting is the background decorated with scrolling patterns of vegetation and flowers.
