Unbreakable, O Lord,
Is the love
That binds me to You:
Like a diamond,
It breaks the hammer that strikes it.
Here Meera Bai pleading Lord Krishna to take notice of her love for him and describes their relationship as a diamond and a hammer. Like the hammer is bound to break after striking the diamond, her heart is bound to break after touching the diamond or Krishna. This painting of Acrylic paint by Sanju Basu shows Krishna in his Manmohana roop. The roop of form Meera Bai is very fond of. With fine brushstrokes, the painter has manifested Lord Krishna in his most beautiful form. The bright blue color of his face and body is a testament to the endless universe of the same color. The halo behind his head is proof of his stature as the only sun for his devotees. His face decorated with Chandan, his hair decorated with flowers and most precious jewels is the image to behold forever.
