On the banks of Yamuna, Lord Krishna performs the dance of divine glory after defeating the poisonous serpent Kaliya who posed a threat to the inhabitants, cattle, and marine life of Gokul - Playing his merry flute on the top of Kaliya’s hood, he enlightens and vanquishes the evil within the serpent through the touch of his lotus feet. Coming to realization, Kaliya seeks forgiveness from Krishna, who’s the universal essence - Narayana himself, narrated in this beautiful Madhubani mural.
