From the ligatures of the Great Hindu Epic - Ramayana, this Madhubani has been traditionally painted using natural colors on handmade paper dictating one of the many crucial moments of the Sanskrit text - Hanumana, crossing over the seas when finally meets Sita consumed in Virah bhava at Ashoka Vatika, looking out for Rama’s arrival - presents her the ring of her beloved; in whose gem she could see Rama’s reflection. Hanumana, then asks Sita to come back with him, which she denies holding her conviction for a Dharma Yuddha between Rama and Ravana. Besides her, stands Trijata - the old Rakshasee who guards Sita in regard as depicted.
