On this marble plate, we see Ganesha seated in lalitasana i.e. sitting on a pedestal with one leg hanging down and the other folded on the cushion. He can be seen in a frontal stance with his head towards the right. In the extra hands emanating from his shoulders, he holds an axe, gifted to him by Parsurama, and in the other he holds Vishnu's conch shell. In his main right hand, he holds the chintamani, the priceless gem and in the left, a bowl full of modakas, his favorite sweet. He also holds one of the modakas in the folds of his trunk. He wears strings of necklaces reaching up to his waist, anklets and bracelets and a crown with a prabhavali at the back and pearl strings hanging in front. A pale halo surrounds the head. He wears a yellow dhoti, a green waistband and a rust coloured shoulders cloth.
A curtain hangs around him which is neatly tied at places. The mouse, his vahana, lies inconspicuously almost lost in the foreground.
