A complicated mandala that depicts the universe and its dimensions is the symbol of the Kalachakra, which translates to "Wheel of time" or "Time-cycle" in Sanskrit. The function it plays in fostering harmony and comprehension amongst other cultures and religions is well-known. A lusty red on the right, a calm white on the left, a wrathful black or blue on the center, and a contemplative yellow on the rear of the blackhead are the four aspects of the deity. Eight yellow, eight red, and eight blue hands, represent the three various colors of his twenty-four hands, each grasping a different symbol or object.
