At the beginning of Creation, it was Saraswati who became the creative energies of Brahma. She became the origin of Universe, the muse of the Creator. In this acrylic on canvas, Devi Saraswati appears as the seed of creation, hovering over a lotus, the symbol of Universe, surrounded by the cosmic ocean and a circle in her backdrop, symbolising the world. The hair of the goddess flow upward, creating a dynamic image, followed by the serene beauty of her countenance, adorned by sandalwood paste.
The form of the goddess is artistically depicted, attired in orange and green, the colors of sacredness and auspiciousness, and she is in the meditative Padmasana. The animation in her eyes and the gentle strumming of her Veena can be felt in the artwork, creating an atmosphere that gives bliss to the Mayura (peacocks) flanking the goddess and the onlooker.
