Framed in an interplay of heavenly yellow-orange spirals behind Lord Dhanvantari’s head and the bottom painted in the wavy ocean of milk from where this Hindu god of medicine arose. Lord Dhanvantari is an avatar of Lord Mahavishnu who arose during the Samudramanthan with the nectar of immortality.
This blue complexioned god with awe-struck features turns out, attired in the best of his robes in a wonderful blend of yellow-green-red colors in an artistic pattern, matching jewels and the unique crown glorifying his persona.
His strong arms carry the pot of immortal ambrosia and right carries the jalanka (leech), while the two upper hands hold shankha and chakra. His lotus eyes, red mouth and the blue and pink lotuses that grow from either sides contribute an essence of purity and serenity to form this picturesque.
