Dancing Ganesha | MK Goyal | Mix Media on Canvas

$1315
Only 1 available

A very vibrant and joyous depiction of the Lord Ganesha in striking dark maroon color, dancing in bliss and cheer. The manner God’s dancing is shown, suggests that this dance is purely in imitation of his father, Shiva. He looks most hilarious while dancing, seemingly on an alluringly formed large-round multicolored pedestal of lotus petals as shown in this image. Also projected as playing with a Damru held in his upward raised hand and with his second hand, eating beloved modak through his long trunk carved uniquely, thick at the top and keeps getting thinner at the end. The trunk and the hands colored in brilliant white look amazing.

Ganesha’s personal Vahan mouse, looking amused and in all praise for his master is on his right side. Ganesha is adorned in lustrous jewels, a lively white dhoti over his powerful legs, and a fascinating marooned snake belt or Naga encircling his waist reaching up to his dancing left foot. The serpent is half hidden at the back of his rotund potbelly. Beautifying his charming elephant face with a cool broken tusk and one small round eye.

The son of Lord Shiva and Parvati, Ganesha is known as the God of wisdom, prosperity, and auspiciousness. Because of his obedience and faithfulness to his parents, he had been blessed to be worshipped first before all the other deities. It is traditional among Hindus to invoke Ganesha's blessings before the initiation of any new endeavour or when seeking to overcome obstacles in life. Therefore often he is also called the Siddhi Vinayaka.

This painting of dancing Ganesha with his trunk turned right and multi-colored dramatic background is said to be of great spiritual value as this invokes the energy of the sun. It radiates sensuous grace and dignity. This painting would fulfill boons faster if worshipped at your dwells.
