With Dharmachkra as the backdrop, in the center stands the archangel of compassion in Mahayana Buddhism - Avalokiteshvara. Known to be one of the most powerful bodhisattvas, he joins his hand to the heart chakra holding the mystical wish-fulfilling gem while in other hands he holds the Dharmachakra, Japamala, Lotus, Bow and Arrow, and the vessel of Exilir. His numerous other hands forming an impression of the halo are in the Varada mudra of blessing, where the eyes on each of his palms represent omnipresence. His elongated head, with 10 faces symbolize enlightenment through multidimensionality. On top are the five Tathagata Buddhas painted in the colors of their unique wisdom and both the bottom corners of this stunning Thangka Mural are occupied by Manjushri and Mahakala respectively.
