The painting of this Balshaka yantra is a simple diagram comprising of a bindu placed in a red triangle. The triangle is pointing downwards, representing the goddess (yoni). A yellow hexagon encloses the triangle, itself lying within a green circle. Taking all these geometric shapes in its fold is the eight petalled lotus. The lotus has much importance in Hindu and Buddhist pantheon as it symbolizes self creation. Finally, on the outskirts is a square opening out in the middle of each side as four portals.
The brightness of pure four portals is balanced by the black and white border proclaiming the symbol 'Aum'.
