The skin of Lord Shiva is gray, smeared as it is with ashes. With his right hands he plays the damaru, and Maa Parvati dances to its rhythm. The couple is in a mood of relish and with all ease they are portraying a very fine classical step. Even the snakes clinging around Shiva’s neck and back can be seen enjoying the immense pleasure of this dance. If we observe their appealing eyes we can easily understand that both dancers are very particular about each step and postures.
There is a marked sophistication in the dance steps and speaks volumes about the comfort level between the couple. Everyone knows that Lord Shiva is the most fantastic dancer ever, always enjoying each and every of his dance steps.
