Larimar is a rare variety of Pectolite, a blue silicate mineral. It's also called Stefilia's Stone. It was discovered in 1974 by Miguel Mendez and Norman Rilling. It's named after Miguel's daughter Larissa and the Spanish word for sea (mar).

This elegant oval larimar pendant that we have got for you is a one-of-its-kind special piece, set into a Sterling Silver frame. It comes with a matching Sterling Silver chain in three sizes. The beautiful blue in your neck will impart an unmatched grace and class to your personality.

It's a rare stone, only found in the Dominican Republic in the regions of the Caribbean Sea.

It comes in various shades of blue: from almost white to a deep blue. Other impurities can impart other shades to the various larimar samples. However a true blue larimar is the most prized of them all.

Blue colour of an authentic larimar stone is photosensitive and may fade slightly if exposed to too much light and heat.
