The Shikhara of this 8 feet high temple has a central structure formed like the Vimana roof of a Dravidian shrine. Its imposing form is supported by the two globular structures and small Stupis. The arched roof is etched with delicate Durva grass on the lower portion which is a symbol of abundance and vegetation with swans symbolizing divinity. Two pillars on each side, ornately patterned with natural designs and held on the backs of elephants- animals that represent regalia and strength. The Jaali or latticework on the doors of this wooden temple gives it the appearance of Jharokha or windows of heritage structures, adding a mesmeric element to it. The base of the Mandir has drawers with beatific floral ornamentation and layering of marble that adds to the refinement of the wooden temple. A true representation of the grandeur of Hindu temples, having this Mandir in your home will transport you to the land of the divine.
