Symphony Celestial Gold Edition (Classical Dance DVD Collection) features ten classical dance forms of India viz. These dances have been diligently portrayed to unravel their unique performance styles.

The DVD on Kathakali has the artistes of Margi troupe performing Kalyanasougandhikam, a chapter from the epic Mahabarata.

The DVD on Kutiyattam has the outstanding Kalamandalam Sivan Namboodiri performing Kailasodharanam an absorbing piece of drama from the epic Ramayana.

Mohiniyattam the dance full of laasya or sensuality is presented by Dr. Deepti Omchery Bhalla.

Bharatanatyam the classical dance form of Tamil Nadu is presented by Anita Ratnam.

Kuchipudi the classical dance form of Andhra Pradesh is presented by Manju Bharggavee.

Kathak the classical dance form of northern India is presented by Pali Chandra.

Odissi the classical dance form of Orissa is presented by Sujata Mohapatra.

Manipuri the classical dance form of Manipur is presented by Bimbavati Devi.

Satriya the classical dance form that originated in the Island of Majuli in Assam is presented by Anita Sharma.

Yakshagana, the dance drama of Karnataka is performed by the artistes of Malla Sri Durgaparameshwari Yakshagana Kala Mandali.

In addition to these dance forms the package also includes Symphony Celestial Concise Edition (2 DVDs). These two DVDs, with a duration of 60 minutes each, present one performance each of all the ten classical dance forms that feature in the Gold Edition plus a performance each from Nangiarkoothu and Ottan Thullal.
