Sri Sivan Sar is a great Siddha Purusha! Hailing from the glorious lineage of Govinda Deekshithar, Sri Sar was the poorvasarama younger brother of Sri Kanchi Kamakoi Peetathipathi HH Sri Maha Periyava. Shri Sadasiva Sastry alias Sivan Sar took birth on 3-October-1904 in Eechangudi near Thiruvaiyaaru on the banks of the holy river Kaveri in the month of Purattasi and star Pushya.
He spent time in creating lots of “Nandavanmas” at many places while writings the glorious spiritual treasure “Yenipadigalil Maanthargal”.
Sri Sar attained Mahasamadhi at Chennai on 7-March-1996 in his 91st age on a Phalguna Krishna Paksha Dvithiya Thithi.
