Belur Math is the head quarters of the Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission. It is the architectural manifestation of Swami Vivekananda’s dream of a permanent abode for his master Sri Ramakrishna. He prophesized about Belur Math: “The blazing light of universal harmony that will emanate from here will flood the whole world.” Belur Math has indeed become the hub of a worldwide spiritual movement known as the Ramakrishna Movement.
The DVD covers the imposing Sri Ramakrishna temple, the old temple, Swami Vivekananda’s living room, Sri Sarada Devi temple as also Nilambar Mukherji’s garden house, Sarada Math, Veda Vidyalaya and the Ramakrishna Museum.
