This film is based on Kariamanikam Srinivasa Krishnan, the great Indian physicist, teacher and leader. In this film we trace the footsteps of K.S.Krishnan and explore the many facets of this extraordinary man. Jawaharlal Nehru, another great Indian, once said of him, “What is remarkable about Krishnan is not that he is a great scientist but something much more. He is a perfect, a whole man with an integrated personality”.
K.S.Krishnan worked on a bewildering assortment of scientific areas ranging from the magnetic behavior of crystals to thermionics and solid state physics. He was also an inspiring teacher and a key figure in the development of scientific institutions in India that are relevant even today; like the Atomic Energy Commission, CSIR and UGS.
