The fabled honest woodcutter Ali Baba battles the arch villain Abu Hasan in this version of the much, loved story of “Ali Baba Aur 40 Chor” (Ali Baba and the forty thieves). While Ali Baba is waiting for his father Yusuf’s return from a long journey, a mysterious woman comes asking about Yusuf’s return route. Yusuf’s caravan is crossing the dam, which provides water to the city of Gulabad, when Abu Hasan and his band of 40 thieves blow up the dam and disappear into the mountains. Yusuf is saved by King Tabrez. By the time Ali Baba reaches the king’s place he learns that the evil Shamsher has killed Yusuf and the king. How Ali Baba rebuilds the dam, avenges his father’s death, meets Marjina whom he has rescued from Shamsher, and discovers that Abu Hasan is none other than….
