The imagery of Krishna and Radha is a foil for the motion of transcendental absorption which is the underlying idea of these images. Radha, who was, till then, being pampered by her old maid, finds Krishna at her feet. With her head bent and eyes looking at him, she confidently lets Krishna caress her feet. The gopis of Vrindavana watch in delight the transcendental pastimes of the Supreme Lord. Radharani wears a beautiful sari and numerous ornaments. Krishna himself wears a long necklace of lotuses in his neck. He is dressed in a yellow dhoti, his trademark color (pitambara). His turban is decorated with beautiful plumes. Various peacocks and peahens strut in the foreground partaking of the divine activity.
A typical asymmetrical feature is the architecture on one side of the background and nature on the other, providing variety.
